Salient Alliance Initiative (SAI) was established and registered with the CAC in September 2020.
We strive to make the lives of vulnerable persons especially women and children better through partnership with stakeholders and community networking.
Today, we’ve been able to reach out to atleast 50 adolescent girls and women in Chikakore, Duste, Apo village and Kado Village in Abuja through our Participatory Menstrual Hygiene Management for Adolescent Girls (PMhmAG) project currently ongoing in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja, in selected secondary schools and communities.
We also intend to reach out to at least 500 vulnerable persons through our literacy and Numeracy for Disadvantaged Population Project (LaNDIP), currently, survey and assessment have been carried out in Konduga and Jere LGA, Borno State.
Our mission is to empower communities in realizing their purpose and achieving them.
Our thematic area cuts across: Education in emergency services to the vulnerable, WaSH (including menstrual hygiene management to adolescent girls) services, Gender-based Violence mitigation & prevention services, Combating Trafficking in Persons, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Protection monitoring, Nutrition and public health services.
